HAL 9000 Miniature

This HAL 9000 miniature features eight video displays and plays various iconic audio clips from HAL. The entire audio file is 7 minutes long.

​

In the video below, you’ll see one of the video displays that begins with BBC World News Tonight graphics, while an audio clip plays from the BBC interview featuring HAL and Mr. Ramer.

​

There’s also an audio clip where HAL discusses a failed disk array, with a video of that disk array shown.

​

The final audio clip is dialogue between Dave and HAL. HAL ends with singing the song, "Daisy" as he is shut down.

​

Additionally, I’ve installed an on/off switch on the back to control the audio.
